Working In The Netherlands

Hey muffins, this is a note to share with you my working experience in Horeca- Hotels, restaurants and cafes in the Netherlands. it was amazing!- Ik vond het erg leuk – that means, I loved it.

While I was a student at Rotterdam University, I did some in between jobs in Restaurants such as Olijven Tuin in Rotterdam and Toro dorado, Markt Cafe, these above mentioned restaurants are awesome!

I also worked for Amadore , Amadore has a great customer service system, well trained staffs and also great ambiance in their restaurants.

if you are searching for a student job, restaurants, cleaning jobs and hotel receptionist can be a great start.

I also worked in some awesome hotels as part time jobs. I was fired several times because I lacked some experience. so my advice to you young lad out there, you need to be well experienced before you apply a job, choose a field you are good at, and be the best.

Awesome Graduation Party Vlog – Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences!

Hello Muffins! Thank you for watching. This is an awesome vlog to share with you my Graduation experience at Rotterdam Business school.

I recently graduted from Rotterdam University of Applied sciences. I am so elated and had an awesome time! Few years ago, I started my University studies at Inholland University in Rotterdam i did my third and fourth year study at Hogeschool Rotterdam. During my study, I met and made friends with lots of national and international student whom came from different countries to study in the Netherands.

I did my digital minor in Digital marking, I also gave lectures at one occasion at Rotterdam Univeristy of appied sciences to my felow students, I taught them how to build a website and social media marketing due to the fact that i had my business fabulous beauies ( http://www.fabulousbeauties.nl/) , after the lecture, i got some great feedback fom my colleagues on how to improve my website and social medial activities. I am realy passionate about blogging, seo, marketing and sales. I and my team members did some great projects for companies such as Mobbr, Izifes, etc. I have been inspired by some great makeup artist, social media enthusiastic peope and also by my great lecturers. Rotterdam is a fabulous city to study there are lots of international business opportunities there. I highly recommend Rotterdam univeristy and applied sciences school for your studies, or Erasmus univeristy. When I can newly to the Netherlands, I wanted to study at Erasmus university, I was not so good at statistics, that was the reason i did not gain admission at Erasmus University.

In Nigeria, I did my studies of Biochemistry at Anambra State University, presently known as Odumegwu Ojukwu Univeristy, then during my final year study, I went with my fellow student to University of Nigeria, the best university in Nigeria to write my thesis on Anti diarrhoea effect of Combretum dolichopetalum plants on Diarrhoe. We did the test on Swiss albino rats. At Rotterdam University i wrote my thesis on Export of Jacaranda trading b.v. mobile hospital to Nigeria. One of the findings of my thesis research is that there is enormous amount of demand of martenal mobile hospital, laboratory in Nigeria.

Daily Skincare Routine

Hello Loves! Hope you all are doing well. Here are some few tips on how I maintain a heathy skin. I do drink a lot of water and thee on daily basis. Water helps to keep you hydrated and ensures a glowing skin. I also bike a lot. I bike almost on daily basis, Biking helps to tone your muscles and be in shape. I also use awesome affordable cosmetic products such as bio- oil, Nivea, Baby oil. Eating lots of fruits and vegetable is paramount. I do eat fruits such as Banana, Kiwi, Oranges everyday to gain some essential nutrients such as vitamins. Vegetables are also important such as cucumber, sla,tomatoes, onions etc.

Wearing good makeup , such as foundations, powder, applying bush and lipstick or gloss can also refreshen you and makes your skin glow.

A good night rest is also very important to earn a glowing skin. Avoid too much smoking and drinking too much alcohol..

Shopping In Rotterdam

Hello lovelies! I hope you are doing well! This is an awesome vlog to share with you my awesome shopping exerience in Rotterdam. Rotterdam is an awesome city in The Netherlands. Rotterdam is the second most biggest city in Holland. There are awesome shps such as De Bijenkorf, Primark, H&M, We,Van Haren, Omoda,Mexx,The Sing and many more. I usually shop from Pprimar, H&M, We fashion, Omoda,Manfield in the Netherlands. For my mkeup and cosmetics, I buy them in Kruidvat, Douglas, Ici Paris,Etos nd De tuinen. Parfumstar in Hoogstraat Rotterdam is also an awesome shop for makeup and cosmetics for very affordable prices.
Rotterdam is also known for shipping port and international university. It is very diversified wth alot of international and global persons from China, India, Japan, Suriname,Africa thus highly multicultural.

The shirt am wearing while playing with my child in the sitting room is from Primark. C&A is also a great shop for male and female clothing. I usually buy toys from Blokker and Bartsmith for my little boys. they love playing with lego, cars etc.

Working In The Netherlands

Hello Lovelies! Working In the Netherlands has been an awesome experience for me. I have had ample opportunities to work for prestigious companies such as Kuidvat, De Tuinen, Parfum Star, Allevo, Dorcas, Candelabra and Jacaranda Trading B.V. In The Netherlands. All these years in Holland, I have been happy living here, there are sometimes downsides and upsides aswell. I have also been able to build up my own business as a co founder of Fabulous beauties and watchstar.nl

The dutch people are very friendly and kind. Its als a great country to bring u your children expecially in Zeeland. You can easily find a job in recruitment agencies such as werk.nl, Randstad, Tempo team. Alot of tourist easily get a job in Horeca (hotels, catering and restaurants) . In case you do not speak dutch, it might be a problem finding a job, although there are alot of dutch persons whom speak english language

In Amsterdam, Rotterdam there are alot of dark people compared to Zeeland area. Almost everyone in The Netherlands speak englsh. Although it is very important to speak the dutch language in order to find a good job. The upside of living in The Netherlands is that other european countries such as Belgium, Germany are quite closeby.

It is very important to learn the culture of the Netherlands because the cultue of the Netherlands is very different as that of nigerian culture ( see hofstede cultural dimension).

All in All, my working experience in this country is awesome and I highly recommend The Netherlands to build up your career.

Keep in mind, there are alot of cheese here and you have to know how to ride a bike lol.

Change your Look Change Your Life!

Hellooo my beautiful friends! Today I decided to share with you the reason why looking your best is essential. By making your Hair Style, Makeup and Outfit styling, makes you feel better, your mood is better and your confidence level would be increased. It is so important for men and women to take good care of themselves. Personal grooming includes wearing neat cloths, stylish clean hair cut, Manicure and Pedicure.

I am a beauty consultant in The Netherlands and I can assure you looking good is good business. If I was looking unkept, you would not like to watch this movie or my photos, you would click it way. People judge you based on your appearance. Whether we like it or not.

If you change your look, you will change your life. Image or your appearance can make a huge impact in your life. I usually look at my older pictures and comparing with my recent pictures to analyse what have changed, I have noticed that now I dress better, wear better makeup, and chose the right accessories. It is very important to pay attention to your appearance.

You have to make more time to look nice. We all do not have time, but we create time.

Understanding why you should dress up every day is essential and makes you stand out from the crowd.

Even if you have kids, and do not have sufficient time, you can make time. Use more time for yourself instead of spending more time on Instagram, Facebook admiring other people’s photos. Putting a little makeup using little concealer, lip-gloss is so important. When people look at you, they look at your hair, nails, and outfit.

It is fine to accept yourself the way you are, but it is important to add extra effort in dressing up.For your hair, you can just blow dry it, add a little serum and make it look nicer.

You do not have to wear expensive clothes or makeup to look great, you can wear affordable makeup from drugstore such as Kruidvat, Iciparis, and Douglas. Cloths from V&D, De Bijenkorf, We, Nelly, Asos are great shops to shop.

Let’s not forget food. Good healthy balance is great. Working hard is also a must!
